Get ready for an unforgettable day of fun as the EHL Fragile X Foundation transforms an entire street into a vibrant, interactive playground for their Touch-A-Truck event! Sposen Signature Homes is thrilled to announce its sponsorship and participation in this remarkable community gathering, set to take place on Saturday, April 6 from 9am to 3pm along Lafayette Street in Downtown Cape Coral.
A Day of Exploration and Fun
Touch-A-Truck is a family-friendly event that invites children of all ages to get up close and personal with an impressive lineup of vehicles, from fire trucks to construction equipment. Children can engage in hands-on experiences with over 40 vehicles by touching, honking horns, and even pretending to drive.
Attendees can also collect stamps in their event passports by visiting designated locations, including the Sposen Homes booth. Completing the passport earns families a chance to win kid-friendly prizes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day.
Understanding the sensitivity of some guests to loud noises, a horn-free hour will be observed from 9am to 10am, ensuring a comfortable environment for everyone to enjoy the festivities.
More Than Just Trucks
This year marks the seventh anniversary of the Touch-A-Truck event, a tradition rooted in raising awareness for Fragile X syndrome, inspired by Ethan Marsino’s story. Over the years, it has grown into an extravaganza that not only entertains but also educates and inspires the younger generation.
Sposen Homes at Touch-A-Truck
As a sponsor, Sposen Homes is excited to set up a tent at the event, contributing to the community spirit and engaging with local families. Our team looks forward to sharing information about our semi-custom homes in Southwest Florida, perfect for growing families looking for their dream home. Plus, we have some fun activities planned at our booth, so be sure to stop by with your truck passport for a stamp and a chance to win prizes by spinning our prize wheel.
A Day to Remember
The day will begin with a heartwarming rendition of the National Anthem by local singer Katy Sumrow, followed by a flag presentation by a local Girl Scout Troop. With last year’s event drawing over 6,000 attendees, this year promises to be even bigger, aiming to welcome more than 7,000 guests.
