5 Exciting New Amenities Coming to Cape Coral

Cape Coral has always had the sunshine and waterfront living people move to Florida for. Now, the city is adding even more of the lifestyle pieces residents have been asking for.

As more people choose to call the city home, the focus is shifting toward the amenities and services that make everyday life more enjoyable. New destinations are being planned, beloved public spaces are being reimagined, and major investments are bringing more convenience, recreation, healthcare, and hospitality to the area.

Here are five upcoming Cape Coral amenities that show how the city’s future is continuing to take shape.

Cape Coral Yacht Club

The Cape Coral Yacht Club has long been one of the city’s most iconic waterfront destinations, and its next chapter is one many residents are watching closely.

Updated 2026 plans for the Yacht Club show a reimagined waterfront experience with an expanded beach, resort-style pool, children’s play and pool areas, community center, restaurants, day docks, marina slips, a boardwalk, and a pier with shade structure. The updated vision keeps the spirit of the Yacht Club alive while creating a more modern destination for families, boaters, beachgoers, and visitors.

For many people, the Yacht Club represents classic Cape Coral living. Its redevelopment is about more than rebuilding a park; it’s about bringing back one of the city’s most beloved gathering places in a way that supports the next generation of Cape Coral residents.

Cape Coral Grove

North Cape is quickly becoming one of the biggest growth stories in the city, and Cape Coral Grove is a major part of that transformation.

Planned along Pine Island Road, Cape Coral Grove is a 131-acre mixed-use town center designed to bring more shopping, dining, entertainment, and community activity to one of Cape Coral’s fastest-growing areas. With construction expected to begin in the second half of 2026, this project is more than just another commercial development. It’s a sign that North Cape is becoming a stronger live-work-play destination.

As more residents continue to move north, projects like Cape Coral Grove help bring the conveniences people want closer to where they live. That means less time driving across town and more access to restaurants, shops, entertainment, and gathering spaces right in the heart of a growing area.

Seven Islands Project

Seven Islands has cleared a major milestone with City Council approval for development in Northwest Cape Coral.

Seven Islands is one of the most talked-about projects in Cape Coral’s future growth plans, bringing a long-anticipated 48-acre waterfront destination to the Old Burnt Store Road area.

With plans for restaurants, shops, a marina, lagoon resort, amphitheater, and food truck park, this project has the potential to bring a new level of dining, recreation, entertainment, and waterfront activity to Northwest Cape Coral.

Lee Health Clinic

As Cape Coral grows, access to healthcare becomes just as important as shopping, dining, and recreation. That is why the new Lee Health facility on Veterans Parkway is such a meaningful addition to the city.

The new 100,000-square-foot outpatient complex is expected to bring advanced healthcare services closer to Cape Coral residents, including cardiac care, cancer treatment, imaging, surgery, and diagnostic testing. The project has already broken ground, and completion is expected in Fall 2027.

For homeowners, this type of investment matters. Having more healthcare options closer to home helps reduce travel time and supports the needs of a growing population. It is another sign that Cape Coral is continuing to mature as a full-service city.

TownePlace Suites

Cape Coral’s growth is also attracting more hospitality investment, including a new Marriott TownePlace Suites hotel planned for northeast Pine Island Road.

The 112-room hotel is expected to be completed in Summer 2027 and will add new lodging options for visitors, business travelers, and families coming to the area. It will also help support nearby restaurants, shops, and commercial growth along one of Cape Coral’s busiest corridors.

While a hotel may not be the first thing people think of when they picture local amenities, hospitality growth is a strong sign of a city becoming more of a destination. More lodging means more visitor traffic, more support for local businesses, and more confidence in Cape Coral’s future.
